Borewell & Tube Well Drilling
Hitech Drilling Engineers undertakes borewell and tube-well drilling for industrial, commercial, institutional, infrastructure, construction and real-estate projects. Our fleet of modern table-drive and top-drive rigs, percussion tools, compressors and support vehicles covers most phases of borehole drilling.
There is no single drilling method suitable for every geological formation. Our execution methodology is decided according to site conditions, formation, required depth, bore diameter, project specifications and the intended application. Based on the survey findings, the right type of rig is deputed to the site.
Drilling methods we use
DTH (Down-The-Hole) Drilling
Air-powered hammer drilling for fast, straight holes in hard rock and consolidated formations.
Direct Rotary (Mud) Drilling
Rotation of a drill bit with drilling fluid (water / bentonite) to lift cuttings, cool the bit and stabilise the borehole – well suited to deep wells and alluvial formations.
Reverse Circulation / Reverse Rotary
Air or water is circulated down the rods and cuttings are lifted up the inner tube – ideal for large-diameter tube wells in unconsolidated formations.
Cable Tool / Percussion Drilling
Percussion drilling for boulder-rich or difficult strata where rotary methods are less effective.
ODEX & Dual-Rotary Drilling
Simultaneous drilling and casing (DTH combined with casing drive) for overburden that tends to collapse.
Combination Rigs
Direct rotary combined with percussion drilling and other improvised combinations for mixed formations.
Borewell drilling in action
From rig set-up and drilling through hard rock to reaching the aquifer – see how a borewell is drilled by Hitech Drilling Engineers.

What is included
- Site assessment and drilling-point marking
- Surface casing and borehole drilling
- Casing, slotted pipe / screen installation
- Gravel packing and sealing
- Recording of drilling information (strata log)
- Development, cleaning and yield testing
- Pump selection and installation support
- Domestic tube wells up to 12" diameter
Successful drilling involves much more than simply reaching a particular depth. It requires understanding the site, selecting appropriate methodology and tools, maintaining proper drilling practices, recording drilling data and developing the borewell properly – which is exactly how we work.
